About this integration

GoKwik powers checkout for 1,000+ D2C brands in India. With the Updatrr integration, every GoKwik checkout event flows into WhatsApp automation — recover carts, verify COD, and delight customers with instant order updates, all without touching a line of code.

Updatrr receives GoKwik webhook events and maps them to WhatsApp message sequences. Abandoned GoKwik carts trigger a 3-part WhatsApp recovery series. COD placements trigger an OTP-style confirmation message. Shipped orders trigger tracking update messages automatically.

Webhook URL

Add this URL as your webhook endpoint. Your API Key is passed as the api_key query parameter.

Your API Key: Shopify Admin → Apps → Updatrr WhatsApp AI Automation → WA API Account → API Key

How to set up the GoKwik integration

1. 1

   Copy your Updatrr API key

   Shopify Admin → Apps → Updatrr WhatsApp AI Automation → WA API Account → API Key.

   Open GoKwik Merchant Dashboard

   Navigate to Settings → Developer → Webhooks.

   Register the Updatrr endpoint

   Paste the webhook URL shown below (it already includes ?api_key=). Replace YOUR_API_KEY with your key from Step 1.

   Choose webhook events

   Select checkout_abandoned, order_placed, and order_shipped. Save.

   Verify with a test order

   Place a test order via GoKwik and check the Updatrr dashboard to confirm events are being received and WhatsApp messages are firing.

Frequently asked questions

Does Updatrr support GoKwik's COD intelligence score?

Updatrr uses GoKwik's order.placed event payload. If GoKwik marks an order as high RTO risk, you can route it to a stricter COD confirmation flow in Updatrr.

Can I A/B test WhatsApp cart recovery messages for GoKwik carts?

Yes — Updatrr's broadcast and automation builder supports template variants. You can split GoKwik abandoned cart traffic across two message templates.

Is there a delay before the first abandoned cart message fires?

By default, the first message fires 30 minutes after checkout abandonment. You can adjust this to anywhere between 15 minutes and 24 hours in Updatrr settings.
