About this integration

Breeze is a frictionless checkout experience for Shopify stores. Connecting Breeze with Updatrr means every checkout event is followed by an instant WhatsApp message — whether that's recovering an abandoned cart, confirming a COD order, or notifying a customer that their order has shipped.

Updatrr hooks into Breeze's webhook system to capture checkout and order events. The data feeds into WhatsApp automation templates, personalised with the customer's name, product details, and order information from Breeze.

Webhook URL

Add this URL as your webhook endpoint. Pass your Updatrr API Key as the request header: X-UPDATRR-API-KEY

Your API Key: Shopify Admin → Apps → Updatrr WhatsApp AI Automation → WA API Account → API Key

How to set up the Breeze integration

   Get your Updatrr API key

   Shopify Admin → Apps → Updatrr WhatsApp AI Automation → WA API Account → API Key.

   Go to Breeze Merchant Settings

   Open the Breeze dashboard, then Settings → Webhooks.

   Register the Updatrr endpoint

   Paste the webhook URL shown below. Add a custom header: Key = X-UPDATRR-API-KEY, Value = your API Key from Step 1.

   Subscribe to events

   Select checkout.abandoned and order.created at minimum. Add order.fulfilled for shipping updates.

   Send a test webhook

   Click the test button in Breeze settings and confirm the event appears in Updatrr's webhook activity log.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly does the first WhatsApp message fire after a Breeze abandonment?

By default, 30 minutes after the last activity. You can set this as low as 15 minutes in Updatrr → Automation → Timing.

Can I stop the sequence if the customer calls us instead of buying?

Yes. Mark the conversation as resolved in the Updatrr inbox and all pending automated messages for that contact are cancelled.
